    Dr. Zitterkopf was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska in 1950 the son of Jake and Jeanette Zitterkopf. He was raised with one younger brother, Jack Zitterkopf. Dr. Zitterkopf's boyhood years were spent on an irrigated farm/ranch south of Lyman, Nebraska.
